Ah the gym. A place some of us don’t care about. A place some of us love. And a place that some of us want to love but it’s just really, really hard to. Why? Because it takes effort to hit up the gym. Some days the will to get yourself out of your comfy warm bed to workout is pretty non-existent (we've all been there).
We live hectic lives and it’s easy to justify being “busy” as a reason to not schedule in time to workout. But really, the gym is a great place. You should go. Or go to a cycle class, a yoga class, go to water aerobics, or for a run, just do something active. It’s important to release those endorphins so that you can live a healthier, happier life. Going to the gym is not all about getting a "bikini body". While working out does improve your physical health (if done properly in combination with a healthy diet), it more importantly can have a huge positive impact on your mental health, which is why it really is so important to be active.
